Americans are Footing the Bill

A higher demand for power caused energy bills to go up 5% on average in 2022.1 On top of that, as of May 2023, about a quarter of all U.S. households reported experiencing energy insecurity including difficulty paying power bills, reducing basic necessities and keeping their home at an unsafe temperature to avoid energy costs.2

OUTAGES ARE ON THE RISE

Power outages are on the rise, causing blackouts to go up by 64% since the early 2000s.* And more homes are going without power for longer.
